Secure delivery, guaranteed
We know how important your work is. All frames are carefully packaged to protect them in transit. If your frame arrives damaged, we’ll replace it.
Made by a small studio
We’re a two-person studio — every order is made, painted, and packed by us. That means quality comes first, but it also means availability is limited.
We produce a limited number of frames each month to maintain quality.
The "Divine Proportion" in Art
Historically, artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Salvador Dalí used these proportions because the human eye finds them inherently "correct" and balanced.
Composition: Placing the focal point of a painting where the Fibonacci spiral "tightens" (the eye of the spiral) creates a natural sense of harmony.
Balance: It helps artists avoid placing subjects dead-centre, which can feel stagnant, or too far to the edge, which feels "heavy."
Dimensions:
Small: Gesso Panel: 200mm x 300mm, St. Ives Frame: 290mm x 390mm
Large: Gesso Panel: 300mm x 500mm, St. Ives Frame: 390mm x 590mm
Elevate your artwork with a frame designed to match its quality.
Very high quality, easy to use frames and fantastic customer service. The system to fix your artwork into the frame is so easy to use and the frames are pre-strung for hanging too, which saves time and expense. I contacted Foster and Walker with a suggestion, as I prefer painting on canvas rather than gesso boards; they are refreshingly open to feedback and happy to find solutions. I am delighted to have found them and their lovely frames!
The frames are smart and stylish, and the included board is good quality, while the fixing system is quick and convenient. Excellent.
Great quality and lovely smooth canvas panel. I will order more
Fabulous quality and Fabulous customer service!
Brilliant frame, made it so easy for me. I just painted on the gessoed board and once dry, popped it into the frame. Good quality and finish, I will definitely order more as it cuts out all the faffing of taking and collecting from the framers. Highly recommend.
I was very pleased with the quality of the frame and the surface of the painting board was great to paint on. I would have given 5 stars but for the long delivery time . I sha use this company again.
Great quality frames
